Rights Georgia has joined the European Network for Statelessness (ENS). The network represents a civil society alliance of over 170 organizations and individual experts operating in 41 countries, which aims to eliminate the problem of statelessness in Europe and provide access to rights guaranteed by international laws for stateless persons.

European Network for Statelessness was established in 2012 as a coordinating body and expert resource for organizations and individuals working to promote the right to a nationality in Europe.

Rights Georgia has been providing free-of-charge legal assistance to stateless persons since 2020. This work is part of the ongoing project supported by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) – “Protecting and Empowering Refugees, Asylum Seekers, Humanitarian Status Holders, and Stateless Persons in Georgia”.
